Evan Kramer

Evan Kramer has been a trial lawyer in Texas for more than twenty-five years. He grew up on a farm in the Texas Panhandle, but moved to Houston in 1981 to attend Rice University on a National Merit Scholarship. After graduating from Rice with a degree in Philosophy, Evan received a full scholarship to Texas Tech University School of Law, where he was a published editor on the Texas Tech Law Review and a member of the Board of Barristers. He obtained his law degree in 1989 and was licensed to practice law in 1990.

Evan began his legal career working as the Briefing Attorney for Justice Paul Murphy on the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston and then spent more than twenty years in private practice as a defense attorney with Texas law firms. During this time, Evan represented numerous large corporations and insurance companies and served as the attorney-in-charge for Texas and much of Central and South America for a major automotive manufacturer involved in high-profile multi-district products liability litigation. He also worked in-house as regional counsel for a Fortune 100 insurance company, where he managed legal operations throughout Texas.

Over the past twenty-five years, Evan has gained substantial trial experience, successfully trying numerous serious personal injury cases before juries in federal and state courts across Texas. He also has significant experience in negotiating settlement agreements and has served as principal counsel in more than 500 mediations of high-exposure personal injury claims.

Evan’s background and experience provide him with a unique understanding of how large corporations and insurance companies view and handle personal injury claims, and this knowledge gives him an advantage in helping the clients that he represents today.

When he’s not practicing law, Evan enjoys spending as much time as he can with his wife and two sons and volunteering with Boy Scouts and Sea Scouts in the Houston area.

Evan is licensed to practice law in Texas. He has also been admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Texas, Northern District of Texas, Eastern District of Texas and Western District of Texas, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
