Chris Walker was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana where his childhood was molded by the sights and sounds of The Big Easy. Eventually, however, Chris made Texas his permanent home.
He graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Cultural Anthropology and a minor in Environmental Science. After working in Washington D.C. for a year while attending a Georgetown business and policy program, Chris went back to New Orleans for law school where he received his J.D. from Tulane University Law School with a certificate in environmental law.
While at Law School, Chris worked in the maritime law field and worked pro bono for the ELLA Arts Council of New Orleans where he assisted musicians, artists, and filmmakers with a variety of legal issues.
While initially beginning his legal career in fields that involved corporations with names but no faces, Chris quickly found that helping wronged individuals was much more rewarding.
While not practicing law, Chris enjoys playing guitar and piano, hiking and biking, playing golf, and watching his New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
